Shortbread Cookie Recipe for Valentine’s Day
This lovely cookie recipe for a treat that makes the perfect company to your Valentine’s Day tea came to us from a dear friend, N. MacKannan.
Valentine’s Getaway Special
Ingredients
- 1 Cup butter
- 2 Cups flour
- 1/2 Cup confectioners sugar
- 1 Tbs cornstarch
Cookie Recipe Directions
Use mixer to combine ingredients. Knead by hand until ball can be formed. Pat out on floured surface to 1/4 to 3/8 inch thickness. Cut with knife or cookie cutter.
Bake on an ungreased sheet for 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Allow to cool on sheet. Shake additional confectioners sugar on top.
